Job Summary


Lead Supply Chain Management Projects cross-sites and supplier management and development activities at suppliers as requested by the sites. The aim of these projects and activities is to develop and continuously improve the end to end flow of material, manage the risks and ensure an efficient utilization of available capacities and resources including inventory in order to meet customer demand (Delivery, Quality, Cost).Support Engines sites in deploying the Best Practices and improving the policies and standards together with Engines SCM network and Procurement Means & methods.

Job Responsibilities


•    Lead supplier management and development activities at problematic suppliers mainly in New England : Build the suppliers trust, use a best fit approach, structure communication & reporting, make sure the right people are participating, maintain an action list, manage the calls until the supplier is familiar with standard templates & GKN expectations,  follow the performance against the plan and how it will be achieved, hold the supplier responsible for reporting ownership
•    Lead SCM business process continuous improvement and SC process deployment projects including training of the sites within Engines BL. 
•    Lead the Engines planning/scheduling expert network cross sites. 
•    For bigger projects, create, maintain and govern the execution of Project Plans, to be delivered within agreed project governance, timescale and costs. 
•    Provide update in timely manner (KPIs, Project plans and reporting) and escalate when appropriate.


Job Qualifications


Required Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics’
•    5+ years of experience in any of the following fields: forecasting & Demand Planning, SIOP / MPS / MRP, Daily Scheduling & Execution, Master Data Mgt., leveraging IT solutions, Inventory Management, Internal Flow & Warehousing, End-to-End SC management
•    A minimum of 5 years of experience in daily Master planning or Scheduling & Execution  
•    2+ years of experience with MPS and SIOP processes, ERP and MRP
Preferred Qualifications:

•    GKN Experience
•    High level understanding of Aerospace quality requirements/ AS13100
•    Green Belt
•    Lean training 
•    Project management, Budget Mgt. and Finance acumen
