Job Summary

The Business Line Reward Director supports the SVP HR for each business line with the implementation and execution of all strategic reward activities. They are members of the Global Reward CoE community and as such also contribute to and support the design and implementation of Global HR Performance Reward processes.

 


The BL Reward Director ensures the execution of all compensation processes are delivered across the business line including; Annual Salary Review processes, any ongoing job evaluation processes, implementation and communication of STIP & LTIP plans, support with senior executive employment contracts (A-D grades), ensuring data integrity of reward data in Wilbur, driving total rewards philosophy linked to business strategy and the markets each BL operates in.  The Reward Director will ensure the links between pay, performance, talent and retention are clearly and equitably articulated and managed.
 

Job Responsibilities

•    Deliver global analysis in the broad area of Performance and Reward to support the strategic decision making processes for the Business Line Leadership teams
•    Delivers in-depth relevant analysis on Performance and Reward related topics across the business line to enable and feedback into the Global Reward Strategy.
•    Providing Compensation and Benefit subject matter expertise to the Business line HRBP’s on topics such as job grading training and job levelling support, salary data and market pay analysis, integrated Health programs and value-adding benefits for the employees and the business.
•    Takes the lead within a business line for the implementation of Salary & Market Data & survey management, equal pay analysis and annual salary review processes.
•    Perform job grading and salary analysis for the GKN Aerospace business line they are responsible for
•    Support the process to build a job position & competency model in SuccesFactors to ensure alignment with the WTW tool and the (salary survey) functionalities.
•    Acts as a global business process owner within the business line, for the agreed global HR processes related to compensation and reward topics.
•    Work closely with the GKN Global Mobility team on compensation and benefits tasks for the International Mobile Employee population and with the BL Talent Directors on linking mobility experiences with career opportunities.
 

Job Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree
•    8+ years of experience in performance & reward arena, Global Compensation, benefits (such as health or Short Term or Long term financial benefit schemes) or other areas of Total Rewards such as recognition, gender pay gap, data privacy and health care & benefits management.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

•    GKN Experience
•    Knowledge of global regulations related to (administration of) compensation, benefits, and other related laws to assess and evolve benefits design in line with the GKN Aerospace Annual targets as well as the Cultural Principles.
•    Ability to build a strong internal and external network. 
•    Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR leadership teams and internal and external stakeholders. Act as Global Compensation and Benefits expert for Human Resources colleagues.
•    Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information.
•    Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create formulas, charts, graphs and pivot tables, as well as advanced proficiency developing briefs and reports with PowerPoint.
