Job Summary
The Project Leader is responsible for driving the end‑to‑end implementation of the AutoTime Time & Attendance and Factory Data Collection systems across multiple sites in North America. Deployment activities will occur in 2026 at locations in California (Garden Grove and El Cajon) and the East Coast (Newington, CT; North Charlestown, NH; and Muncie, IN). In 2027, implementations will continue in Tallassee, AL; Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ; and Mexicali, Mexico.
Following the implementation, the role will focus on contract maintenance and legal compliance, improving system functionality in line with end‑user requirements, and further standardizing and streamlining T&A processes within the US Region. The position will also be responsible for managing integrations with other business systems, as well as monitoring and actively guiding safe and compliant system usage.
This is a high‑impact role where you will lead complex, multi‑site deployments, ensure process standardization, oversee integrations with enterprise systems, and deliver sustainable solutions that support our manufacturing excellence.
Job Responsibilities
AutoTime Expertise & Solution Design
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for AutoTime system functionality and translate local business requirements into standardized AutoTime solutions suitable for all GKN sites in North America.
Project Leadership
- Lead full lifecycle implementation of AutoTime for both Time & Attendance and Factory Data Collection, including on‑site presence at designated locations as needed.
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budget; ensure accurate tracking of hours and deliverables.
Stakeholder Alignment & Reporting
- Ensure alignment with regional stakeholders, including the US payroll team, and global stakeholders in HR and IT regarding policies and long‑term system roadmaps.
- Drive local stakeholder engagement, change management, and training activities.
- Provide weekly progress updates to senior leadership and IT management using PlanView.
Integration & Technical Oversight
- Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless system connectivity with SAP SuccessFactors, Infor LN ERP, and ADP Payroll.
- Design and oversee regional cloud data storage and processing architecture while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Define and enforce standardized Time & Attendance and Factory Data Collection processes across three North American business lines.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including interface landscapes, RACI matrices, and all required project deliverables.
Expected Deliverables
- Comprehensive project plans, governance structures, and risk mitigation strategies.
- AS‑IS and TO‑BE process documentation and technical integration blueprints.
- Interface catalogs, data mappings, and compliance documentation.
- System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, cutover strategies, and go‑live readiness reports.
- Training materials and change‑enablement documentation.

For sites already live with the system, you will serve as the system owner and primary point of contact, providing support to ensure ongoing alignment with business needs.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related fields of study.
- 3+ hands-on experience with Auto-Time implementation and configuration, with expertise in Time & Attendance and Factory Data Collection processes within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Strong functional understanding of SAP SuccessFactors, Infor LN ERP, and ADP Payroll integrations.
- Hands‑on experience in designing cloud‑based data storage and processing solutions (Azure or AWS), with familiarity with interface development, API-based integrations, and both real‑time and batch data flows.
- Able to accomodate up to 40% percent.
- Proven ability to lead multi‑site projects across the United States and Mexico.
- Strong communication skills and experience managing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements, with ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance if needed.
Preferred
- Project management certification.
- Master’s degree in Information Technology
- Knowledge of California labor laws.
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is considered an asset.
