Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Program Director (PD) to join the GKN Engines, Pratt & Whitney Customer team. As a Program Director you will be accountable for the execution of the contract(s) in line with all business case and contractual requirements. You will be the key interface with the customer for all aspects of the programs and ensure smooth execution of all program changes in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the execution of the program, including changes, in compliance with the business case and contract, throughout the complete life cycle in accordance with agreed KPIs and targets.

  • Responsible for the proposal process of follow on work.

  • Accountable for Customer Demand.

  • Drive improvements to the program in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Acts as the voice of the customer with all internal stakeholders.

  • Actively manages risk and opportunities to mitigate risk exposure and realize opportunities.

  • Accountable for New Product Introduction.

  • Leads the global Integrated Program Team in order to maximize the effectiveness of the program.

  • Responsible for Employee Engagement and championing the GKN Aerospace culture principles.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge and experience of the Aerospace industry and market
  • Product knowledge within the Aerospace and Defence Industry, including US Military Programs
  • Broad network across the Aerospace industry
  • Ability to operate and influence at appropriate levels both internally and externally
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Tenacity
  • Ability to anticipate future trends based on market intelligence
