Job Summary



Execution and delivery of Procurement Projects across the Business Line e.g. New work bid activity, Work Transfers, New Product Introduction (NPI). Interface with the Site Procurement Projects teams to coordinate project activities linked with the Business Line/Programs. Coordination of the Global Commodity team and the Business Line management team to build a robust sourcing strategy for Programs within the Business Line/Program. Development of strategies to achieve Business Line Procurement/Program cost challenges. Coordination of the Commodity team to drive initiatives. 


Job Responsibilities


•    Accountable for communication with internal and external stakeholders for status of all Procurement projects linked with the Business Line/Program
•    Accountable for the on-time delivery of all Procurement projects linked with the Business Line/Program
•    Ensure that robust project and risk management is carried out on all Procurement projects linked with the Business Line/Program
•    Ensure that adequate resources are in place to deliver Business Line/Program Procurement projects within the committed timescales
•    Accountable for the completion of supplier rate readiness reviews and load and capacity activities in support of any Procurement  project e.g. work transfers, NPI
•    Accountable for the development of initiatives to achieve Procurement cost challenges aligned with Business Line/Program expectations.

Job Qualifications


Required Qualifications:

•    7+ years' experience in Procurement or Project and/or Program Management
•    Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Science discipline
•    7+ years experience of delivering large complex projects
•    5+ years' experience building relations with a supplier network and having insight in suppliers' processes
•    5+ years' experience with an international supply base
•    5+ years' experience working with cross functional teams
