Job Summary

Manage and develop Health, Safety and Environment across multi site region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Site HSE Leaders to champion, deploy and adhere to GKN Aerospace HSE strategy, policies and procedures
  • Deploy the CI strategy within the Region to support GKN Aerospace objectives
  • Support Site HSE and Operational leads to ensure HSE compliance, certification and good practice
  • Support the VP HSE to develop and deploy a world class, safe and environmentally responsible organisation
  • Support the development of core competencies within the Regional HSE function
  • Support the HSE Audit function
  • Member of the HSE Core Team
  • Travel required to touch base with all sites within region
  • Travel required to support HSE Audits of sites within region
  • Travel required to support GKN Aerospace HSE meetings / workshops

Job Qualifications

  • 12-15 years e in a senior leadership role in Health, Safety and Environment
  • Strong HSE knowledge and competence
  • Understanding of industry, national and local HSE requirements
  • Degree level qualification in appropriate discipline
  • Excellent people management skills including coaching and developing others

Fully proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

  • Presentation skills

CMIOSH or equivalent
