Job Summary

The Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for building the capability of their team to ensure assets never impact the schedule.  The role contributes to planning and is responsible for managing their team to perform machinery and/or building asset care.  This will be achieved by deploying the One Aerospace strategy, specifically Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), including standardisation, training, coaching and implementing best practices.
This position is also accountable for applying engineering concepts for the optimization of assets, procedures and departmental budgets to achieve better maintainability, reliability, and availability.  The function role includes planning, managing and performing machinery and building asset care.

     Active involvement in problem solving and the management system using a ‘Go to Gemba’ approach to solve problems.
     Manage a multi-disciplined team to perform asset maintenance to deliver improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), conversion costs and other F&M specific KPIs in accordance with the       site Hoshin Kanri targets to improve.
     Coordinate and manage the Condition Based and Predictive Maintenance program – thermography, oil analysis, vibration, ultrasonic, etc.
     Work with Planner to implement and maintain preventive maintenance program
     Ensure maintainability of new installations
     Conduct forensic and Root Cause Failure Analysis of asset failures
     Establish a comprehensive lubrication program
     Maintain and analyze equipment data and history records to predict maintenance needs (selected elements of RCM – Reliability Centered Maintenance)
     Internal Customer liaison for non-emergency work.
     Create and manage job plans and estimates for preventive maintenance.
     Maintain records, indexes, carts
     Reports on performance goals
     Driving the disciplined and rigorous deployment of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) elements of the Lean Operating Model (LOM), contributing to achieving the expected maturity.
     Maintaining Regulatory Compliance.

Job Qualifications

An effective communicator and an influential team member
     Minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities/Maintenance or similar experience
     Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
     Experience of Continuous improvement and LEAN methodologies
     Experience of working on complex technical projects in global organisations
     Advanced communication and influencing skills, with an ability to influence senior levels of the business as well as establish collaborative working relationships across different departments and       geographies
     Proven structured Problem Solving experience
