Job Summary
As Strategic Vendor Manager, you are responsible for developing and managing the strategic relationship with Ansys. You act as the main point of contact for the partnership and ensure strong collaboration, effective governance, and long term value. Your work enables teams to focus on delivery, while you secure commercial control, continuity, and alignment between Ansys solutions and organizational priorities.
Job Responsibilities
• Own and develop the strategic Ansys partnership to ensure alignment with business and portfolio needs
• Manage license optimization, usage transparency, and compliance for Ansys tools and platforms
• Own budgeting, cost follow up, and financial forecasting for the partnership
• Plan and manage contract renewals, ensuring timely decisions and optimized commercial terms
• Ensure that Ansys capabilities effectively support development and delivery needs
Qualifications & Personal skills
You build trust through structure, clarity, and professionalism. You are confident in commercial discussions, communicate fact‑based, and balance partnership with governance. You work proactively, take ownership, and bring an enterprise perspective to planning and decision‑making. You enjoy enabling others by providing clear vendor management, predictable processes, and transparent follow‑up.
• Experience in vendor management, commercial management, procurement, or similar roles
• Strong understanding of licensing models, cost control, and contract management
• Ability to manage renewals, negotiations, and commercial discussions
• Experience working with technology or software vendors
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
• Experience with engineering or simulation software
• Background in financial forecasting or usage based cost optimization

This position is based in Trollhättan, Sweden, as such, the applicant should be able to gain the right to live and work in Sweden. Travel to other locations within the global GKN Aerospace group is expected.
