The Project Portfolio Group within GKN Aerospace Engines OE Product Solutions is expanding to support a growing and ambitious portfolio, and we are looking for two driven Project Managers who want to make a real impact.

The Role
As a Project Manager within OE Product Solutions, your primary objective is to deliver projects on time, to quality, and within budget, in line with defined project directives.
You will lead a diverse, global, cross‑functional team through the full product life‑cycle; including trade studies, technology demonstrations, product development, and product support for the current fleet. A key part of your mission is to deploy GKN’s unique technologies and expertise, supporting strategic products aligned with GKN Engines’ growth plan.
Your leadership will directly contribute to value creation for GKN and for the commercial engine programmes which rely on GKN as a partner.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage the project (ensure adherence to scope, timing, cost, and quality targets) following internal processes and in alignment with customer requirements
- Lead and coordinate global cross‑functional project teams through all lifecycle phases
- Coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of project
- Drive projects through internal and customer gate reviews with a strong business focus
- Continuously evaluate and manage risks to the project’s success
- Strengthen collaboration with OEM customers and external partners
- Build long‑term technical relationships and reinforce GKN’s reputation as a trusted aerospace partner

Qualifications
Essential:
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with several years of relevant experience
- Ability to proactively create, manage and execute project plans
- High degree of accountability and self-drive
- Strong communication skills, written, verbal and presentation, in English.
- Confidence in interacting across all levels of the business
- Excellent analytical skills
Desirable:
- Certified project leadership according to PMI or IPMA standards
- MSc in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Has a high level of executive disposition
- Knowledge in System Engineering approach and APQP
- Experience of aerospace industry, within R&D or MRO environment
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
Employment
This full-time position is based in Trollhättan, Sweden, as such, the applicant should be able to gain the right to live and work in Sweden.
Travel to other locations within Sweden as well as EU and US is expected.
