Your responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the Export Control Policy, Procedures and Compliance Program at site level
  • Developing and maintaining site‑specific procedures, guidance, training and communication
  • Providing expert advice on export control and sanctions to local teams and leadership
  • Managing export authorizations, including preparation, submission and ongoing compliance
  • Ensuring correct decrementation, license condition flow‑down and monitoring of expiration
  • Building a strong understanding of relevant export control regulations (EU, US, Swedish)
  • Delivering general and business‑specific export control training
  • Supporting and overseeing the Export Control Coordinator (ECC) network
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring the site remains up to date
  • Conducting self‑assessments, risk assessments and audit activities
  • Preparing required reporting for ECMs, HECC and HOL
  • Conducting investigations, preparing disclosures when required and implementing corrective actions
  • Contributing to the continuous development of the global Export Control function

This role does not include direct reports or budget responsibility, but it carries significant influence and cross‑functional impact.

Qualifications & Personal skills

We are looking for someone who is proactive, collaborative and confident in navigating complex regulatory environments. You enjoy working close to the business and supporting colleagues in making well‑founded decisions within export control.

You bring:

  • Experience working in or with the defense industry, ideally aerospace
  • Relevant education or certification in export control (e.g., CECM – Certified Export Control Manager)
  • Experience with EU, US and Swedish export control regulations and sanctions
  • Proficiency in submitting export authorization applications in Sweden
  • Knowledge of extraterritorial export authorizations
  • Experience classifying goods, software and technology across multiple regimes
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to communicate clearly, accurately and confidently

A solution‑oriented mindset and the ability to implement change where needed are essential.

We’ll offer you fantastic challenges and amazing opportunities. This is your chance to be part of an organisation that has proven itself to be at the cutting edge of our industry; and is committed to pushing the boundaries even further.  And with some of the best training on offer in the industry, who knows how far you can go?
