Workforce Planning is the art of using available data of past and present and combine it with the strategic targets of the company to establish a vision of the future and define actions to get there.

It combines data analytics techniques and strategic thinking with the care for individuals.

In order to improve our tools and processes further, we are now looking for a Workforce Planner to join our small innovative team. With a focus on the global Engineering & Technology group, help us to facilitate the process, be a focal point for our managers to plan their workforce, keep an overview, ensure data quality and tell us the story of our workforce data.

We are looking for someone who cares for the details that make up the bigger truth, who has a passion for the power of data and a feeling for visualizing and interpreting data but never loses sight of the human behind the data point.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support our Workforce Planning tool as a key user
  • Host regular meetings with users to conduct data review and interpretation
  • Guide team leaders and managers in their decision making around staffing and recruitment
  • Manage, create & update definitions and instructions, tutorials or trainings for process and tool
  • Be a focal point for improvement requests for the tool, coordinate improvements with the global key user team, define solutions and manage implementation
  • Regularly publish, review and interpret data to understand the global workforce requirements
  • Guide the E&T Management team in financial and strategic forecasting
  • Provide information and establish reporting around achievement of workforce actions plans
  • Adapt process and tool to changing needs of the business
  • Stay updated on workforce planning trends, best practices and technological advancements, propose innovative solutions to enhance process and tools
  • Identify improvements areas to enhance the workforce’s experience of onboarding, developing skills and knowledge and creating a career

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, information technology or a related field
  • Knowledge of data base functionality, preferably experience with working in/maintaining data base
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed decision-making
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High level of English, most communication will be in English
  • Customer servicing mindset
  • Open minded to change and pro-actively searching for new better solutions to existing problems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Strong attention to detail, structured way of working

Place of employement and travel requirements

This position is based in Trollhättan, Sweden, as such, the applicant should be able to gain the right to live and work in Sweden. Travel to other locations within and outside of the EU might be required.
