This role carries a high level of responsability and you will be the focal for external daily communcation with our customers. You will also be a vital part within operations challenging and driving delivery performance and cost adherance/improvement on P/N level.

Job Responsibilities

The Site Customer Manager is responsible for the execution of contract, product strategies at site level and in line with requirements and the agreed scope.

Daily focus

  • Voice of the Customer! – Challenge and drive improved delivery performance 
  • Run all daily external operational communication – Delivery adherence / Recovery plans / Non-conformance / Qualifications / etc
  • PnL Manufactured Sales, Financial forecasting and trading delivery volumes
  • Actively executes Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Responsible for reconciliation and site’s sales order management related to delivery. Manage Arrears KPI.
  • Responsible for change management on P/N level
  • Manage customer related visits on site 
  • Lead customer production readiness assessments when required
  • Manage customer score card
  • Adheres to all program management standards and policies in accordance with the GKN Aerospace Program Management framework and contribute to process development.
  • Represent Operations in PO-review process
  • Responsible for undertaking any other activity required to ensure successful delivery of the program

 Strategic focus

  • Create and support Program Improvement Plans including cost improvement, pricing initiatives, enable Zero Defects Manufacturing, redesign initiatives, gaining agreement with relevant stakeholders according to LCG processes.
  • Contract and Business case fulfillment – with focus on both obligations and rights
  • Business Development in existing deals together with programs and procurement. Provide input to make, move, buy decisions and strategic procurement decisions.
  • Support in the proposal and LCG process.
     

Job Qualifications

  • BSc degree, in Engineering or economics or Equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant business experience. Experience from Programs, Operations, Supply Chain and Procurment is meriting.
  • You have good communication and reporting skills for internal and external tasks
  • You are not affraid of working odd hours, availablity is essential in this role
  • The position requires an outgoing personality with excellent collaboration skills as well as the ability to work independently
  • You are result oriented with a strong sense of accountability and commitment
  • You have the ability to work both strategic and handling daily operational tasks 
  • A good understanding of metric and data driven performance management 
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English, verbally as well as written
