Job Summary
The Calibration Technician is responsible for performing calibration, verification, and maintenance of measurement and test equipment in accordance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality procedures.
This position supports the effectiveness of the Quality Management System by ensuring equipment accuracy, traceability, and compliance. The role requires hands-on calibration activities across mechanical, dimensional, temperature, pressure, and electrical instruments, while collaborating with Quality, Engineering, and Production functions.

Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Working knowledge of industry calibration standards, including ISO/IEC 17025 and AS9100 measurement control requirements
- Ability to interpret aerospace engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience calibrating mechanical, dimensional, temperature, pressure, and electrical measurement equipment
- Proficiency in maintaining calibration records and using calibration management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to perform hands-on work in a manufacturing environment, including lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to visually inspect measurement equipment and read precision instruments, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
- Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements, with ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical or trade school certification in metrology, electronics, or a related field.
- Experience in an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ANSI Z540 or equivalent calibration standards.
- Experience with Fluke calibration equipment and temperature measurement systems.
- Experience supporting internal and external calibration audits.
- Experience using GageTrak or similar calibration management software.
- Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis tools.
