Job Summary

Lead SCM Projects aiming at developing and continuously improving the end to end flow of material, efficient utilization of available capacities and resources, in a safe environment and in order to meet customer demand, enhance material flow and optimize inventory.
Ensure compliance to policies, standards and governance of SCM processes through communication and training of the site SCM team. 
Support the site SCM in executing the site SCM Strategy in accordance with the guidelines provided by the SCM Centre of Excellence.

 

Job Responsibilities

•    Contribute to build business cases with clear deliverables within Key SCM projects to support Global/Regional Supply Chain Management team to deliver the roadmap to achieve excellence in SCM, taking into account Risk Management
•    Support Global/Regional Supply Chain Management team in the creation and/or deployment of Business standards.
•    Depending on the size of the site, responsible for uniformity, accuracy, stewardship, semantic consistency, and accountability of the organization’s official master data in the local ERP and systems
•    Ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintains the processes to support the data quality
•    Responsible for data management, governance, and master data quality in conjunction with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
•    Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
•    Provides assistance in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.

Required Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics; 8 years professional
 expreience is acceptable in lieu of education
•    5 or more years experience in Forecasting & Demand Planning, IBP / MPS / MRP, Daily Scheduling & Execution, Master Data Mgt., Leveraging IT solutions. 
•    5 years experience in Master Data Mgt., Transportation Management, Inbound / Outbound Flow, Customs, Transport & International regulations, Internal Flow & Warehousing, End-to-End visibility and data exchange. Practitioner level Inventory Management, Industry & Product acumen, Project Management, Operations Excellence, End-to-End Supply Chain Mgt.
•    Must be a US Citizen due to program security clearance requirements and/or SSA requirements

 Preferred Qualifications:
•    GKN experience
•    APICS CPIM or CSCP certified or equivalent
•    Entry level for Transportation Management, Inbound / Outbound Flow, Internal Flow & Warehousing, Budget Mgt. and Finance acumen, Lean Mind-set & Business Excellence¸ People Excellence, End-to-End Supply Chain Mgt.
•    Entry level Forecasting & Demand Planning, SIOP / MPS / MRP, Daily Scheduling & Execution, Strategy & CI Planning, Performance Monitoring, Budget Mgt. and Finance acumen, Lean Mind-set & Business Excellence, People Excellence Business Process Excellence
