Job Summary 
MRB Engineers perform a variety of engineering work in planning, design and modification of fixtures, tools, and manufacturing processes.  Resolves production problems and completes documentation on assigned parts

 

Responsibilities

  • Develops, evaluates, improves and documents manufacturing processes
  • Develops and implements process control techniques including work instructions using tools such as SPC, PFMEA
  • Analyses manufacturing process flows continually for the improvements of quality, cost reduction, lead-time reduction for new work
  • Collarborates with other functions to ensure effective production methods
  • Coordinates part inspection procedures with Quality Engineers.
  • Addresses and documents cause and corrective action issues to prevent future problem occurrences.
  • Determines required material and tools for production
  • Creates and registers changes to work instructions
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program; required course work in lieu of ABET accreditation will be considered
  • 10 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 4 years of experience on Material Review Board
  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Department of Defense Security Clearance.
  • Must be a US Persons able to comply with ITAR regulations and site SSA requirements. 

 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of multiple engineering applications and manufacturing procedures.
  • Has knowledge of relevant technology and is able to operate unassisted on routine tasks.
  • Excellent written, verbal and collaboration skills
