This is a short term assignment. 

The St. Louis plant location will be closing at the end of 2023.

This position is considered full time including benefit options and paid time off. 

This full time, hourly non-exempt position is under the collective bargaining unit of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 1, AFL-CIO.

Job Summary

Responsible for the electrical repair and electrical maintenance of machinery and equipment.  Responsible for maintaining a safe work area, safe work practices, for high quality, for high productivity, for integrity, and for compliance with Company instructions and directives, including the Company’s prohibition against discrimination and harassment.

Job Responsibilities

• Trouble shoots, repairs and maintains industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as CNC Machines, equipment, presses, lathes, mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and other production machines.  
• Responsible for electrical aspects of repair.  
• Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs the electrical aspect of industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions
• Installs equipment using hand and power tools; constructs foundations; aligns machines; performs scheduled inspection and maintenance.  



Job Qualifications

Education and Training

• 4+ years of experience using a volt meter to check for presence of voltage (0-480VAC) 
• 4+ years of experience 3 phase motor troubleshooting experience
• 4+ years of experience with motor control circuits, contactors, VFDs, and servos
• 4+ years of experience with basic electronics, electrical/electronic training, basic computer repair
