Job Summary

As the Programme Manager you’ll join the Programme team of two Programme Managers’ and report in to the Senior Programme Manager. You’ll be responsible for the execution of the business case and contract in line with requirements and the agreed scope.  You’ll partner internally and externally to ensure the continued success of the programme. You’ll be involved with NPI activities and support the Head of Programmes (HoP) with all programme developments, Gate Reviews and changes. This will include:
•    Supporting the execution of the programme (including changes) to comply with all the business case and contractual requirements for their products
•    Being responsible for continuously monitoring the performance of the allocated programme, managing off-track items and for reporting progress through the PPS
•    Acting as the voice of the customer, is responsible for providing all necessary information, and supporting data to the customer, in a presentable and standardized format
•    Supporting the HoP in defining the vision, strategy, budget for the programme to optimize cash flow, profitability and growth
•    Actively executes Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management to control and mitigate the risk exposure and take advantage of opportunities

 

This position is a 12 month fixed-term contract.

To help us make a difference, you’ll bring your passion and expertise/ talent for what you do along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:

 

Essential:
•    Demonstrable experience of programme management, having created and executed a project plan
•    Demonstrated experience of managing all programme financial deliverables and budgets
•    Experience in commercial, engineering or operations within the automotive, pharmaceutical or marine industry 
•    Strong communication skills and the ability to achieve by influencing others
•    Ability to build relationships with customers and other external stakeholders

 

Desirable:
•    Demonstrable experience in commercial, engineering or operations within the Aerospace industry
•    Either completed or registered for acknowledged Programme Management Certification
•    Experience within Operations 
•    Ability to build and lead teams

Please note the working hours for this role are 7.30am till 4.15pm Monday to Friday with every second Friday a non-working day ‘Free Friday’.
