Job Summary

Due to continued growth in our programmes we have created a number of exciting training opportunities for Operators to join us to work in one of our 3 active factories. There will be full training in all areas of the role. 

 

You’ll report into one of our Team Leaders, who will provide you with development and training across a wide range of manufacturing processes within our production area. You’ll be able to follow fixed effective actions and diagrams as they play a key part in our product delivery utilising the following skills:
•    Reading diagrams, then mark out and cut the material in accordance to the diagram instruction
•    Joining and coat a variety of rubber materials using glues 
•    Operating Sewing Machines 
•    Following quality processes; stamp your work when complete 
•    Carrying out a variety of other assembly duties as requested
•    Always look for new ideas and ways of working, to improve existing processes and share with your team/manager
 

How You'll Contribute

To help us make a difference, you’ll bring your passion and talent for what you do along with any of the following skills, experience and attributes:
•    A passion for working within the Aerospace industry
•    An interest in manufacturing 
•    Thorough and able to pay attention to detail
•    The ability to work with hand tools or paint brushes
•    Willingness to work with chemicals, glue and solvents
•    An interest in completing DIY projects
•    Dexterity skills
•    A good understanding of Health and Safety 
•    Great communication skills
•    Be able to work as part of a team

 

If you have worked as a Manufacturing Operator, Machine Operator, Labourer, Handyman, Apprentice Operative, Warehouse Operative, Factory Operative, Junior Operative, Production Operative, Painter, Painter & Decorator, Craftsperson, in a related Apprenticeship or just have a passion for Construction then this job could be for you!

Please note the working hours for this role are 7.30am till 4.15pm Monday to Friday with every second Friday a non-working day ‘Free Friday’.
