Job Summary
We are seeking to recruit a Quality Agent to join our Operations division as part of our Fokker Elmo Canada team. The position will be supporting our ongoing Final Assembly Line activities with one of our main customers in the Montreal area – providing a unique experience for an Aerospace career.
Job Responsibilities
- Exemplifying a safety-first mind-set and ensuring that the GKN Aerospace Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards are applied and that their assigned areas are a model of a world class healthy and safe working environment
- Hands-on evaluations of wire harnesses and related components to determine liability
- Report to Quality team in Europe
- Attend weekly collaboration meetings
- Work closely with technicians and customer to define root causes
- Active involvement in problem solving
- Maintain Quality databases
- Point of Contact with customer for on-site Quality Issues operations
How You Will Contribute
Essential
- An evidenced track record in Quality control, preferably internally from a Team Leader role
- Effective and strong English communication skills both speaking and written
- Understanding of electrical harnesses and components and the related technical terminology
- The ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment
Desirable
- Qualifications in an Aerospace discipline
- A passion for the Aerospace industry

The role will may include some international Travel to our Dutch sites.
