Job Summary
We are seeking to recruit a Methods Agent to join our Operations division as part of our Fokker Elmo Canada team. The position will be supporting our ongoing activities with one of our main customers in the Montreal area. The majority of our work is performed on the aircraft, providing a unique hands-on working experience for the entire team.
Job Responsibilities
- Exemplifying a safety-first mind-set and ensuring compliance with the GKN Health, Safety and Environment policies and standards
- Evaluating damages to wiring that occur during installation and defining the repair procedure
- Preparing work instruction
- Converting design and build information into work instructions for rework and repair of electrical wire harnesses and define logistic parameters
- Performing modification or revision assignments and restoring any detected errors through work instructions and explanation to a technical support team
- Ordering the necessary repair components
- Maintain positive team relationships in an international setting
How You'll Contribute
To help us make a difference, you’ll bring your passion and talent for what you do along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:
Essential
- Diploma from accredited school in Electrical Cabling or Avionics ( example – EMAM or l’ENA )
- Bilingual – French and English
- 5 years experience in a technical environment
Desirable
- Experience of aviation electrical wiring

To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills and be a proficient Microsoft user. You will be a team player able to work co-dependently with others in the team. The role will include some international Travel to our Dutch sites and the successful candidate must be prepared to work on shift pattern.
