Job Summary
We are seeking to recruit a Logistic Specialist to join our Operations division as part of our Fokker Elmo Canada team. The position will be supporting our ongoing Final Assembly Line activities with one of our main customers in the Montreal area – providing a unique experience for an Aerospace career.
We are looking for people who want to make a difference, talented members with the skills and passions to become the best of the future in what they do. To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills and be a proficient Microsoft user. You will be a team player able to work co-dependently with others in the team.
Job Responsibilities
- Exemplifying a safety-first mind-set and ensuring that the GKN Aerospace Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards are applied and that their assigned areas are a model of a world class healthy and safe working environment
- Daily ordering of electrical parts, including tracking and tracing and pick-up at various locations
- Prepare parts and wire kits from warehouse and external wire printing department (pre-assemble work packages for technicians)
- Keep track of inventory, order quantities and expiration dates
- Work together with international colleagues to solve supply-chain issues
- Maintain tool inventory including timely calibration of tools, the drop off and pick up with the local calibration company
- Order tools and other needs on the local market
- Follow Fokker inventory processes in maintaining parts, including monthly and yearly inventory and usage for Quality and Cost purposes

Essential
- High School or Equivalent Diploma
- Valid drivers licence
- Superior PC and Excel Skills
- Effective and strong English skills both spoken and written to communicate with international colleagues
- Minimum two years warehouse and inventory experience
- Accurate reporting skills
- The ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment
Desirable
- Experience in the Aerospace industry
