Job Summary

The Finance Business Partner will perform program financial accounting and transaction processing and provide analysis, insight and control to the finance function across actuals, forecast and budget.  They will ensure that the balance sheet positions for the FBP’s area of responsibility are carefully managed, controlled, reconciled and communicated in line with expectations. The Finance Business Partner will work with other functions within their area of responsibility to drive on site performance through the provision of robust financial information and by holding owners accountable for improving it, as well as ensure that the business processes to do this reflect consistent best practice.
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and book financial data to ensure that P&L and balance sheet positions are correctly reflected in our accounts.
  • Provide business partnering to site based functions – provide insight, analysis and reporting according to their requirements, and support in interpreting and acting on financial data.
  • Support financial planning and budgeting.
  • Provide reporting and analysis.
  • Provide financial decision-making support.
  • Ensure that balance sheet positions are reconciled, understood, and aged or judgmental items are actioned to minimize them.
  • Adhere to all financial governance requirements and support internal and external audits as required.
  • Establishes, modifies, documents and coordinates the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
  • Assist with the management of the annual budget and long term strategic plans.
  • Key integration driver between Business Lines and Operation(s).
  • Ensures integrity and accuracy within the process, data stakeholder.
  • Executes monthly/quarterly financial forecasts based on internal review(s) between Operations and Business Lines.
  • Prepare and deliver month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Performs balance sheet reviews and executes compliance requirements.
  • Facilitates Reporting Unit(s) physical inventory count and corresponding reconciliation.
  • Leads preparation for company internal and external audits with answering questions, obtaining documentation and discussing issues regarding a variety of accounting matters.
  • Monthly Sales, Conversion Cost, OPBI, Cash, and Inventory reconciliation.
  • Internal reporting and business analytics generation (Qlik Reporting, Flash Reporting, etc.).
  • Standard pricing system management and corresponding variance analysis.
  • Fixed Asset control owner including CapEx PO, invoice, and cash flow tracking.
  • Control owner relating to the integrity of business accounts and ledgers. 
  • Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support the company’s goals and objectives.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting within a large organization required.

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in the manufacturing/aerospace industry preferred.
  • Experience with LN ERP system preferred.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and collaborative team that is responsive and results-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize, self-manage and complete work on their own with little supervision.
  • Ability to attend various meetings throughout the week as related to ongoing cross-functional projects and report back necessary information for further action.
  • Understanding of managing finance, accounting, budgeting, control, pricing, business analytics and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Keen attention to detail; diligent.
  • Connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrates emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly, collaboratively and persuasively.
  • Recognized accounting qualification.
