Fokker Elmo, part of GKN Aerospace, is a leading specialist in Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) for the aerospace industry. With a strong focus on innovation, quality and operational excellence, we support the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers.

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to strengthen our Supply Chain team and support our journey toward operational excellence.

Job Summary

As Warehouse Team Leader, you will lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations at Fokker Elmo. You will manage a team of warehouse professionals and ensure the efficient handling, storage and distribution of materials, tooling and finished goods.

You play a key role in ensuring material availability for production, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving continuous improvement using Lean principles.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management
- Lead daily warehouse operations
- Manage workload and team performance
- Coach and develop team members
- Conduct team meetings
- Support onboarding and training

Operational Excellence
- Oversee receiving and storage of materials
- Coordinate picking and material supply
- Supervise packing and shipments
- Ensure accurate ERP transactions
- Monitor inventory and FIFO

Safety and Compliance
- Ensure safety procedures are followed
- Enforce hazardous material handling
- Prevent damage and material loss
- Maintain ESD and FOD standards

Continuous Improvement
- Drive Lean improvements
- Optimize material flow
- Support improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production

Stakeholder Management
- Act as warehouse contact for stakeholders
- Support internal logistics
- Ensure material availability for production

Your Profile

Essential

MBO degree preferably in Logistics or Material Management
Leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
Knowledge of warehouse management principles
Experience with ERP systems, BaaN is a plus
Strong communication and leadership skills
Basic to intermediate English language skills
Experience with MS Office and warehouse systems

Preferred

APICS certification in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution
Knowledge of end to end supply chain processes
Experience with Lean and continuous improvement
