Talent Acquisition Manager

Job Summary

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring talented candidates. You'll be in charge of planning, developing and implementing a consistent recruitment approach in a region. You will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and Development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a consistent recruiting program for all employees in the region.
  • Thread GKN Culture principles in every step of the recruitment process.
  • Design, plan, and executive branding initiatives that match our global branding.
  • Encourage and build brand ambassadors for GKN.
  • Create consistent employee referral program.
  • Use SuccessFactors to maintain all recruitment work. Work with any additional changes and advancements in the system.
  • Source and attract qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Understand hiring needs and work with forecasting.
  • Ensure adherence to standardized global recruitment process.
  • Find bottlenecks in recruitment process.
  • Perform candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Embrace continuous improvement on all recruitment processes.
  • Lead, oversee, and mentor all members of the recruiting team.
  • Develop sourcing methods for hard to fill roles.
  • Determine, measure, and report on all recruiting KPIs.

Job Qualifications

Your main responsibilities are:
-    Analysing, mapping and determining the recruitment demand. 
-    Mapping of recruitment sources: what and where are the sources to realize and deliver on the recruitment demand. 
-    Developing and executing a recruitment strategy, including cost structure and marketing budget. This means designing milestone activity planning and liaising, collaborating and contracting with partners such as regional bodies, recruitment services agencies and contractor agencies, both nationally and internationally.

Tasks and responsibilities in further detail: 
-    Prepare all internal resources and contract external resources (contracting with procurement, ensure right KPI’s and swift candidate process)
-    Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.           
-    Lead, oversee, and mentor all members of the recruiting team. Ensure recruitment resource availability and allocation.
-    Act as recruiter for senior positions
-    Manage all recruitment activities and partners (mitigate risks and also recognize and capitalize on opportunities)
-    Develop and run labor market campaigns and other communication tools
-    Ensure that (sub) projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
-    Work as an effective project leader requiring demonstration of leadership qualities.    
-    Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, KPIs and techniques
-    Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate has the following (required) qualifications: 


Education:
-    Bachelor Degree preferably with technical and HR background 

Work experience:
-    10+ years’ experience in talent acquisition
-    5+ years’ experience in recruitment leadership
-    Work experience in a global matrix organisation/ multinational 
-    Work experience in manufacturing industry / technology business environment is preferable 
-    Robust work experience in mass/ large-scale recruitment projects, recruiting technical profiles
-    Work experience in developing and running recruitment social media campaigns
-    Extensive experience in online search engines and platforms

-    Able to translate overall operational plan into recruitment plan
-    Strong communication/presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with all levels within the organisation

-    Ability to manage recruiters in a matrix organisation
-    Skills in MS Office and Project Management Tools
-    (Labour) Marketing communication skills
-    Extensive experience in social media/ online recruitment such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, Instagram
-    To define and monitor KPIs/ dashboards
