The role

Quality assurance role that operates singularly or within a team to audit the Business Management Systems(BMS)/Quality Management Systems (QMS) & processes, against Regulatory Requirements, Industry Standards, Customer and GKN Aerospace requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Quality Manager in the delivery of audit activities that support the respective audit plans and schedules.
  • As appropriate, participate in audit engagement planning, scoping, and follow-up activities.
  • Propagate Quality Culture across the organization.
  • Identify and share across the organization, best practices and support continuous improvement of the BMS/QMS and its processes.
  • For the evaluation of the audit evidence, non-conformities recommendations / opportunities for improvement and for the communication of subsequent recommendations, including risk identification to the Quality Manager. Support the root cause and corrective action activities.

Job Qualifications

  • To help us make a difference, you’ll bring your passion and talent for what you do along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:
  • Lead Auditor Certification
  • Experience gained from a Quality Auditor role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of product and system quality auditing 
  • Experience in Practical Problem Solving and Root Cause and Corrective Actions Techniques 
  • Experience of working to ISO 9001 
  • Competency with MS applications/tools
  • Aerospace industry experience including related regulations
  • Experience of APQP/PPAP (AS9145)
  • Experience of working to AS9100/AS9110

The incumbent will be independent and decisive with the ability to work autonomously with effective communication and active listening skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The gross monthly salary will depend on your knowledge and working experience. We work with a junior, medior and senior scale, the senior scale for this position is L2: 5.321,- to 6.386,- euro
