About the opportunity 

The Sustainability Project Analyst / Project Manager will be responsible for setting up a framework and process for accurate and complete Sustainability measurement and reporting for GKN Aerospace in alignment with various reporting standards. The goal is to set up and maintain a quarterly process of gathering and analyzing sustainability data from many different disciplines and sites. You will be supporting the establishment of these metrics, while ensuring compliance to accurate definitions and standards and overseeing accounting operations when applicable. You will report to the Director of Sustainability and will based in  Papendrecht, the Netherlands. This is a role for at least 12 months You can be based in the UK/, The Netherlands Or Sweden 


Your responsibilities

•    Establish a Project Charter with Stakeholders, with a plan and RACI for the implementation phase.
•    Compile manage a work breakdown structure (WBS), organization breakdown structure (OBS) for the quarterly reporting process in alignment to CDP, SASB and TCFD reporting standards.
•    Lead in formalizing accurate sustainability reporting scope, definitions and allocation.  
•    Support and coordinate the IT and Finance department in setting up an effective reporting architecture
•    Control and monitor on progress, scope and resources for the process.
•    Execute internal control measures regarding the complete and accurate recording of sustainability programs and activity
•    Based on analysis, you initiate improvements/ recoveries on sustainability performance in close collaboration with the responsible disciplines.
•    Support the accounting function in quarterly and annual reporting deliverables
•    Deliver analysis to the Director of Sustainability, disciplines and sites regarding risks and opportunities of sustainability performance and programs
•    Assist the Director of Sustainability with preparing quarterly sustainability results by contributing to KPl’s and accounting insight, analysis, and recommendations. 


Other activities:

•    Prepare and assist in driving Sustainability activities across the business
•    Assist in the set up and definition of internal sustainability targets, improvement program and activities in line with the global sustainability strategy
•    Assist the business in developing Sustainability analysis and (customer) statements 


What do you need to be successful in this role?

•    Passionate and motivated about the implementation of Sustainability in what we do today
•    BSc or MSc Diploma
•    Three years of experience in project management, financial controlling, or consulting
•    Knowledge of project management tools and procedures
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•    Good team building  skills across a global footprint
•    Experience in Data Management and  ERP systems
•    Experience with Aerospace and/or industrial sector
•    Strong knowledge of Excel, data warehouse and IT architecture. 
•    Financial experience in Budgeting and Cost Accounting
