Job Summary

The Cyber Security Technician is responsible for administration and support of security programs within the respective regions.

The role is focused on troubleshooting all security matters. From detecting security issues and susceptibility, to inspecting for security risks and constructing the optimum security systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Required to follow all HSE rules and regulations. Must wear appropriate PPE as required.
  • Support Global/Regional/Site security administration tasks to protect the system against damage, changes or illegal access.
  • Support Regional Data Centre security administration tasks, Ensure security tools are running properly, including anti-virus software and firewalls and other security related systems.
  • Oversee system tests and ensuring continuous monitoring of network security.
  • Promptly responding to all security incidents to support operational security teams and provide thorough post-event analyses.
  • Reviewing current system security measures and recommending enhancements.
  • Provide security training to colleagues.
  • Working as effective member of multi locational team often requiring demonstration of leadership qualities.
