Job Summary
SOD Specialist (BaaN IV ERP) | Contract Assignment
We are looking for an experienced Segregation of Duties (SoD) Specialist to support our organization in reviewing and resolving SoD conflicts within our BaaN IV ERP environment. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who can start at short notice and is available for a period of several months.
Assignment Details
• Start Date: As soon as possible.
• Duration: 3-6 months.
• Location: To be determined (onsite/hybrid).
• Availability: Preferably full-time or a significant part-time commitment.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the SoD conflict analysis process, provide actionable remediation recommendations, and ensure effective communication throughout the organization regarding any required role and authorization changes.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze identified SoD conflicts and assess associated business and compliance risks.
- Develop pragmatic and sustainable solutions for resolving SoD violations.
- Provide clear recommendations and remediation plans for implementation by the ERP team.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and ERP specialists to ensure effective resolution of conflicts.
- Review and optimize role design, access rights, and authorization structures within the BaaN IV environment.
- Communicate proposed role and authorization changes to impacted users and stakeholders across the organization.
- Support change management activities related to role adjustments and access governance.
- Document findings, recommendations, and implemented controls.
Job Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and remediation.
- Strong knowledge of BaaN IV ERP security, roles, and authorization concepts.
- Proven track record in identifying, assessing, and resolving SoD conflicts in complex ERP environments.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive assignments from analysis through recommendation and implementation support.
