Job Summary
The specialist Reward Structures and analytics supports the design and implementation of Global HR Performance Reward processes either globally or as part of one of the Business Line HR teams.
Performs complex job grading exercises and creates global / regional consistency in grading and benchmark comparisons at global level and/or at Business Line level in cooperation with the other Business Line Reward Directors. Helps define, implement, guides and monitors the use of Global GKN Aerospace pay structures. Actively contributes to define Global HR Performance and Reward strategies and support implementation of Global initiatives of the Center of Excellence P&R, the Global HRLT or support in business organizational design processes.
Job Responsibilities
Corporate Strategy
Work with and act as a sparring partner for the VP HR Performance and Reward and the other Regional Reward Directors to define a multiple year HR Performance and Reward strategy and setting Compensation and Benefits guidelines. Delivers in-depth relevant analysis on Performance and Reward related topic to enable the definition of a Global Reward Strategy.
Set the global strategy including programs and tools on Job evaluation, Salary & Market Data & survey management, equal pay and all related analytics and communication.
Perform job grading and salary analysis for the GKN Aerospace team they are responsible for
Support the process to build a job position & competency model in SuccesFactors to ensure alignment with the job evaluation tool and the (salary survey) functionalities.
Providing Compensation and Benefit services to the Regional HR teams such as job grading training and job levelling support, salary data and market pay analysis, integrated Health programs and value-adding benefits for the employees and the business.
Provide training sessions to live audiences and /or via WebEx  Skype functionality.
Contract management
Effectively conclude, manage and renew Reward specific contracts with external (global or regional) vendors and manage their performance in line with GKN Aerospace Procurement guidelines or the requirements of the Melrose Benefits pool.
Metrics and Analytics
Deliver global analysis in the broad area of Performance and Reward to support the strategic decision making processes for the Global HR Leadership team and the Global Centers of Excellence as well as the business, both in metrics and communication for internal / external stakeholders. Communicate and train the relevant stakeholders in understanding and using the information for the benefit of the company.
Budget
Manage the budgets for tooling of from third party services providers such as Tooling and Market Data Service providers.
Functional alignment
Keep the HR Global Business Process Owners and HR Regional leads apprised and aligned on any material matters so that there is adequate insight to the relevant matters.
Work closely with the GKN Global Mobility team on compensation and benefits tasks for the International Mobile Employee population
Job Qualifications
- Master Degree education and/or HR qualification (or similar qualifications/significant experience in this area).
Seasoned in Willis Towers Watson compensation philosophy, job grading & pay, as well as knowledge of other provider methodologies
Experienced in participation in Salary and Benefits surveys
Being able to define Salary ranges for the entire GKN Aerospace organization based on survey market data
Experienced in using systems to run compensation/incentive processes (SAP Success Factors/Comp and Variable pay)
Ability to develop and delivery training on complex rewards processes to diverse audiences
Adequate exposure on total reward in Asia markets
Excellent Excel skills to make Reward analysis, proficient in all other Microsoft applications
Provide advice and support management of annual pay review cycles, including pay and performance modelling and system process with focus on continuous improvement
Support in design and associated modelling of incentives (both short term and long term) as well as supporting plan rules and communication templates.
Develop understanding of market practice and emerging themes in the area of Reward and share ideas with relevant stakeholders
Strong communication skills in English, verbally and in writing
Analytical and creative thinking style
Being able to listen and translate business questions into practical, effective and sustainable solutions
Previous experience in a multi-cultural and global matrix organization. Thorough understanding of the challenges of working across global time zones, language and cultural differences.
Experienced project management skills
