About the opportunity

You will be working on the NH90 project within Fokker. This project is managed by NATO Helicopter Industries (NHI), an international joint venture, established by its Partner Companies Fokker, Airbus Group and Leonardo Helicopters. The NH90 helicopter has meanwhile been sold to 14 countries such as Sweden, Australia, Finland and Oman. Your work as R&O Officer involves the (technical) management of the repair processes performed by Fokker for its NH90 components. You will be located in Papendrecht.

Your responsibilities

  • You coordinate the R&O activities and orders within Fokker for the NH90 program, together with the R&O Manager
  • You liaise with suppliers, engineering, program management, production management, quality, planning and control
  • You secure the progress and generate accurate performance indicators for the R&O process
  • You drive improvement of R&O processes on both technical and logistical aspects

What do you need to be successful in this role?

 

  • Thorough technical background, preferably experienced in (development of) repair processes  and repair instructions
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems (e.g. Baan and SAP)
  • Familiar with the basic logistic processes used in an in-service environment
  • Familiar with aircraft technical documentation, able to read technical drawings and reports
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and  English language, both written and verbal
