Job Summary

The Quality Systems auditor will report to the QA manager and act as an on-site business partner where you will operate singularly or within a team to audit Business Management Systems (BMS) & processes, against Regulatory Requirements, Industry Standards, Customer and GKN Aerospace requirements.

To report & ensure conclusion on non-compliances, as well as highlighting improvement & best practice sharing opportunities and help drive a value added, continual improvement culture through the organization.

Job Responsibilities

•    Assist the Site Quality Manager and BMS Lead in the delivery of audit activities that support the respective audit plans and schedules.

•   Host and support in external audits.
•    As appropriate, participate in audit engagement planning, scoping, and follow-up activities.
•    Generating audit questionnaires, based on work instructions, procedures and external quality standards.
• Delivering the objectives of the audit, ensuring adequate preparation for the conduct of respective audit criteria. 
•    Gathering audit evidence, preparing the audit and distributing the audit report and conducting the audit follow up.
•    Propagate Quality Culture across GKN Aerospace.
•    Identify and share across the business, best practices and support continuous improvement of the BMS and its processes.
•    Define and present for the evaluation of the audit evidence; non-conformities, recommendations / opportunities for improvement based on risks.

Job Qualifications

•    Experience gained from a Quality Auditor role in undertaking Internal Audits against the audit process requirements. 
•    Technical College / University (bachelor’s degree).
•    Strong in both written and verbal communication in English and Dutch.
•    Obtained Auditing training through a certified Training Partner.
•    Possess the necessary personal attributes / behaviors to act in accordance with the principles of auditing as described in ISO 19011.
•    Demonstrable knowledge of AS9100 and Aviation Regulators (EASA, FAA etc.) (Training Certificates required).

•    Knowledge in the use of APQP/PPAP (AS9145) / Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) Management core tools;
•    Experience in Problem Solving and Route Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA) Techniques in order to provide effective audit follow up / closure assessments.
•    An effective communicator with experience in MS applications/tools.
