Will you be our new Quality Auditor?


This is a regional Quality Auditor role that operates within a team to audit GKN Aerospace Regional 2nd party / Site 1st party audits of Business Management Systems (BMS)/Quality Management Systems (QMS) & processes, against Regulatory Requirements, Industry Standards, Customer and GKN Aerospace requirements.

For this position it is a must to have a good understanding of the Dutch and English language.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Regional Audit Manager / QS Manager / Lead Auditor in the delivery of audit activities that support the respective audit plans and schedules.
  • As appropriate, participate in audit engagement planning, scoping, and follow-up activities.
  • When charged with undertaking an audit, providing support to the designated Lead Auditor in delivering the objectives of the audit, ensuring adequate preparation for the conduct of their respective audit criteria.
  • Within their specific audit criteria for gathering audit evidence, recommendations in support of the Lead Auditor or for minor single audits acting in the role of Lead Auditor and thus preparing the audit and distributing the audit report and conducting the audit follow up.
  • Propagate Quality Culture across GKN Aerospace.
  • Identify and share across the business, best practices and support continuous improvement of the BMS/QMS and its processes.
  • For the evaluation of the audit evidence, non-conformities recommendations / opportunities for improvement and for the communication of subsequent recommendations, including risk identification to the Lead Auditor / Regional Audit Manager / QS Manager. Support the root cause and corrective action activities.

  • Lead Auditor Certification
  • Experience gained from an Quality Auditor role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of product and system quality auditing 
  • Experience in Practical Problem Solving and Root Cause and Corrective Actions Techniques 
  • Experience of working to ISO 9001 
  • Competency with MS applications/tools
  • Aerospace industry experience including related regulations
  • Experience of APQP/PPAP (AS9145)
  • Experience of working to AS9100/AS9110

- The gross monthly salary will depend on your knowledge and working experience. We work with a junior, medior and senior scale, the medior scale for this position: L1 4530,- / 5.467,-
