Job Summary

For Fokker Elmo, the Programme Manager NPI/ ToW  leads specific project(s) across the Civil business line that relate to one off activity such as (but not limited to) New Product Introduction, major change programmes, transfers of work and activities that impact across multiple sites. The Programme Manager NPI/ ToW will focus on the following grouped programmes:
•    NGP + PWC

Job Responsibilities

•    Own the Non Recurring budget for all projects / programmes of activity
•    Be financially accountable to deliver project(s) in accordance with expectations. Including (but not limited to) owner ship of non-recurring and capital spend.
•    Be accountable for the successful delivery of projects to plan and ensure that major customer milestones area adhered to.  
•    Lead the planning, execution and monitoring of new programme introduction, ensuring alignment with business objectives up to hand over to sites at LCG7.
•    Lead Multi-functional teams throughout all programme phases to ensure a coordinated and effective project deployment. 
•    Ensure compliance and alignment with customer and regulatory requirements including the timely closure of key project stages  (such as APQP assessment and key stage activities)
•    Ensure a robust change management process is deployed to protect against scope creep and overspend. 
•    Utilise Commercial team support to ensure the contractual relationship with the customer is appropriately managed to protect GKN from risk and maximise opportunities.
•    Establish suitable metrics to track progress and performance both within the programme specific activities but also in relation to the expected project outcomes. 
•    Manage the transfer of major work packages between sites, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to operations
•    Develop and implement transfer plans, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies
•    Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to resolve challenges and enhance efficiency
•    Oversee the coordination of programmes across various locations, ensuring consistency in processes, practices and outcomes
•    Establish and maintain programme governance structures, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards
•    Monitor and report on programme performance, provides insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
•    Be accountable to deliver Programme Management assessment and responses to bids (including but not limited to programme plans, resource plans, WBS, alignment of programme finances and responses to Programme Management contractual requirements) 
•    Responsible for undertaking any other activity required to ensure successful delivery of the program.

Job Requirements

Essential:
•    Experience of new product introduction or significant work package transfer
•    Able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
•    Able to contribute to the strategic planning process by identifying opportunities for growth and improvement within the product portfolio
•    Experience in commercial, engineering or operations within the Aerospace industry
•    Financial acumen
•    Travel to other GKN locations and customers 


Desirable:
•    Either completed or registered for acknowledged Programme Management Certification
•    Experience within Operations
