About the opportunity

As our Site Program Support Controller you are primary responsible for the accurate and complete recording of the program (customer) performance for an operational site. The primary duties for the  Program Support Controller will include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue and cost as well as cashflow and coordinating auditing processes. As a PSC you have your own programs for which you are responsible for financial control. You are  a sparring partner for the program manager regarding to calculating scenarios, impact of production problems on the result, effect of price negotiations on the result, ect. You have an important driving role in establishing the annual budget or updating the forecast every quarter and you play an important role in clearly communicating the monthly financial figures to program management and answering questions from the Customer Finance Director.
You are part of a team of 10 controllers and will report to the head of site control. This position is based in Papendrecht

Your responsibilities

•    You support the accounting function in monthly closes
•    You are responsible for reporting in operational analysis and program developments into the site operations. 
•    You execute internal control measures regarding the complete and accurate recording of program activities
•    You control balances reconciliation with customers, and drive improvements in the field with Accounts Receivable.
•    You are pro-actively part of the matrix organization.
•    You maintain and control the balance sheet specification related to the program
      and pro-actively work with accounting to be compliant with GKN FACTS. 
•    You perform detailed financial analysis on the program and
      assure the site financial business partner receives input for the daily management board. 
•    You deliver analysis to the Head of Site Control, the local finance business partner as well as the IPT control
      regarding risks and opportunities of a certain site program on the performance in the operational site
•    You contribute to the reporting requests from the IPT controller
•    You assist the Head of Site control and the IPT controller with preparing program results by
      contributing financial and accounting insight, analysis, and recommendations; 
•    You prepare and assist in local governmental requirements (Subsidies etc.)
•    You assist with governmental audits (FAR/CAS) when applicable
•    You prepare documentation, internal controls and monitors transfer pricing on site to site and program level where applicable

What do you need to be successful in this role?

•    You have a demonstrated track record of 2- 5 year of success as a financial accounting professional 
•    You excel in accounting, control and reporting with a manufacturing view;
•    You fully understand the first and highest priority of this role is to be in control of the accounted results from an accuracy and completeness perspective
•    You have strong analytical skills;
•    You have a Bachelor’s Degree  (accountancy or Business economics)
•    You are a forward-thinking person and take a global view regarding the business;
•    You connect and build strong relationships with others, demonstrate emotional intelligence and
     have an ability to communicate clearly, collaboratively and persuasively;    
•    You have clear understanding of relevant technical accounting framework
•    You have good understanding of the Aerospace or other relevant industry 
•    You are a team player who understands the matrix and gets this working
•    You understand the perspective of different roles and exposures
•    You have a want-to-know attitude
