GKN Fokker Elmo
As part of GKN Aerospace, GKN Fokker Elmo in Papendrecht is a leading company in design, manufacturing and support of Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) for Aerospace and Defense programs. Our tools and processes support our customer’s in the development of EWIS. We take pride in producing wiring harnesses for aircraft, which connect all the electrical systems. To make the wiring harnesses, we have everything in-house from start to finish. From complete engineering to our final product, the ready-to-use wiring harnesses, we do this for well-known aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing, Airbus, and Lockheed-Martin. As a Graduate Trainee, you will be a member of our Engineering team within our EWIS activities.

During your placements you will be working as part of a global team, giving you the opportunity to experience different cultures and work with a diverse range of people. As part of our Engineering Graduate Programme you can expect the following:
• Rotation throughout each Engineering function: Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Technology R&D.
• Placements at a variety of Manufacturing Sites, our Global Technology Centre and within the Global Engineering Function.
• Performing and supporting engineering testing, verification, and delivery of technical content and solutions within an engineering laboratory, test, or work environment.
• Developing and deploying cutting-edge and transformational manufacturing technology solutions to meet our ambitious sustainability and productivity targets.
• Introduction and support of root cause analysis, preventative and corrective action to reduce/eliminate non-conformances with all relevant customer, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements, within agreed program, schedule, and manufacturing constraints
• Supporting operational and development Programs to enable and deliver zero defect projects, utilising engineering and problem solving skills.

What You'll Bring
• Bachelor's or higher in Aerospace/ Electrical or similar,
• Passion for aerospace design and manufacturing,
• Talented individuals with skills, enthusiasm and passion to become leaders of the future in what they do,
• Dedicated, tenacious, creative and resourceful,
• (Self-)Disciplined and able to mobilize commitment
• Fluent in English,
• Resident in the Netherlands.
