Job Description
GKN Aerospace is looking for a motivated and independent Material Handler to join our Landing Gear team in Papendrecht. In this role, you will be responsible for various logistical tasks to ensure an efficient and accurate flow of goods within our production facility. You will work in a day shift pattern and collaborate closely with multiple departments to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Scan goods in and out based on production orders.
- Deliver and collect materials at various production workstations.
- Check and ensure goods are properly packaged for transport.
- Communicate status updates on deliveries and transport via email and phone.
- Act as a liaison with the Planning Team to provide updates on work-in-progress (WIP) within the factory.
- Ensure materials are presented according to work-to-list priorities for each operation.
- Maintain an updated work-to-list.
- Attend the Daily Schedule Alignment Meeting to support operational planning.
- Coordinate with operators regarding WIP status.
- Conduct stock counts in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Salary & Benefits
Material Handler Scale: C - D - E
- €2,965 - €3,569 per month
- 27 vacation days + 13 ADV days
- Performance-based bonus

Requirements
-
MBO Level 4 education, preferably in logistics or a technical field.

Ability to work independently and adapt flexibly to changing tasks.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience in a logistical role is a plus.

Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Willingness to work in a 2-shift system (possible future requirement).

Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious.
