Maintenance team
You’ll join our Facilities and Maintenance team who are responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of our tooling machinery and installations. Your focus will be on achieving structural improvement for both machinery performance and processes.
There’s opportunity for you to develop and implement a total preventative maintenance strategy for our Landing Gear Operation; around 20 machine tools ranging from milling and turning to grinding, honing and shot peening. You’ll also develop an on demand maintenance approach and be a key individual in the development of the industry foot print and investments.
Job Responsibilities
Alongside the above you’ll be responsible for:
• Leading technical maintenance projects; specification to acceptance and release to production
• Organising maintenance of equipment to achieve optimum performance of availability, safety and cost
• Analysing performance of machinery making proposals to improve reliability and cost
• Advising, budgeting, planning and supporting the technical maintenance of equipment
• Taking care of the development, execution and implementation of complex expansions, modifications and innovations
• Drawing up and implementing maintenance plans
• Work cross functionally across the business
• Drawing up specifications for the execution of technical maintenance by suppliers (SLAs)

Essentials
• Demonstrable experience gained within a similar maintenance role - able to demonstrate maintenance of advanced machine tools – flexible on industry
• Completed education - HBO/WO mechanical engineering, electronics or similar
• Knowledge of maintenance management systems and processes
• Project management experience
• Able to create positive and effective working relationships with stakeholders both internal and external to the business
• Excellent analytical, planning and organising skills
• Be results orientated, pragmatic and have a hands on mentality
Desirables
• Maintenance experience gained within the Aerospace industry
• Knowledge of Ultimo maintenance system
• Have used Heller, DNG or WFL machine tools
• Be fluent in the Dutch language
