Job Summary

As Lean Lead, you will be the driving force behind Lean transformation in your area (1–2 units) of our manufacturing site. With experience in manufacturing and deep Lean expertise, you will take full ownership of embedding Lean “Brilliant Basics” - daily management, problem solving, and breakthrough management - into everyday operations.

This is a highly visible role where you will not only coach and develop leaders, but also shape how teams think, work, and improve. You will influence how hundreds of people experience Lean every day, leaving a lasting impact on safety, quality, delivery, and performance. You will be reporting to the Site Lean Deployment Leader. The internal job title for this role is Lean Deployment Leader.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead by example: consistently role model Lean principles in daily operations.
  • Act as a trusted coach for area leadership, building Lean capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate engaging workshops that bring teams together and drive alignment on Lean methods.
  • Spot and visualize problems early, ensuring they are solved at the source.
  • Deliver measurable and sustainable improvements across People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (PSQDIP).

Job Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Higher education or equivalent analytical thinking level.
  • Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in Lean Deployment in manufacturing environments, with a proven track record of driving transformation.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (mandatory)
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership.
    • High energy and resilience in dynamic environments.
    • Excellent influencing and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the organization.

  • A gross monthly salary based on the CLA Metalektro Grade M and in line with your experience and qualifications,
