Job Summary
The role of IT Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that IT operations meet both internal / external quality standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations. This role involves leading the development and enforcement of quality policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks to enable sustainable, auditable, and aligned IT operations across business lines and sites. Additionally, the IT Quality Manager interprets regulatory and contractual requirements, maps controls, assesses controls, and advises IT/OT and business teams on control implementation. The position supports activities related to security risk management, reporting, policy lifecycle, training and awareness, governance, risk and compliance program delivery, and third-party risk management. The IT Quality Manager collaborates with stakeholders across various business departments including but not limited to IT Leads, Legal and Compliance, and HR to ensure risks are managed effectively and efficiently in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.
Job Responsibilities

Quality Policy & Procedure Management
- Define and maintain IT-specific quality policies and procedures in alignment with corporate standards.
- Ensure documentation supports traceability, accountability, and regulatory readiness.
Audit Planning & Execution
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to IT systems and transformation projects.
- Interpret regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Manage follow-up actions and verify closure of findings.
- Maintain audit readiness throughout project lifecycles.
IT BMS (Business Management System) Oversight
- Own and manage the IT element of BMS at the respective sites to ensure it reflects accurate process maps, roles, and quality gates.
- Support the continuous improvements and of BMS with digital tools
Change & Process Control
- Establish quality gates within change management processes.
- Ensure every IT change, especially in major projects, is risk-assessed and reviewed for compliance.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Collaborate with: Quality Functions at the Business Line and Site levels for cohesive governance and reporting.
Continuous Improvement & Lessons Learned
- Run post-project IT quality reviews.
- Drive improvement actions and preventative controls into future project design
Risk Management:
- Support security risk management activities.
- Oversee reporting, policy lifecycle, and third-party risk management.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various business departments such as IT, Legal and Compliance, and HR.
- Ensure effective and efficient risk management across the organization.
Job Qualifications
Essential:
- Degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years’ experience of Audit and Risk Management within an IT Environment
- Capable of building strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
- Strong planning and organisation skills to drive effective and timely delivery
- Effective communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation, capable of adjusting approach and style to suit different audiences
- Familiar with LEAN principles and their application to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement across the IT function
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to collaborate, working closely with both functional and technical teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting skills
- Ability to remain flexible as priorities change working with key stakeholders to ensure continued alignment to critical deadline
- Established skills in time management, multi-tasking, and prioritisation of work
Desirable:
- Knowledge of IT systems and key architecture components
- Knowledge of IT standard frameworks and governance best practice
- Good Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Good knowledge of Aerospace manufacturing & engineering environment
- Good Knowledge of organizational objectives
Occasional travel required to support IT Teams and scheduled Audits as required.
