About the role
As Site IT Manager, you'll be the go-to person for IT across our Papendrecht facility. That means sitting on the Site Steering Committee, working directly with Site Directors and Functional Leads, and making sure IT keeps us moving forward.
Here, you’ll have real authority. When something needs resolving, you'll be empowered to step in, coordinate across teams, and get it done.
What you'll be doing
Being the face of IT on site: Act as the site’s senior IT lead, building strong relationships across operations, cyber, and the wider business.
Keeping things running and improving them: Manage infrastructure, security, and service levels. Oversee equipment deployment and ensure policy compliance.
Leading with clarity under pressure: Lead high-pressure incident response with clear communication and calm prioritization.
Contributing to the bigger picture: Support the annual budget and drive the adoption of global IT standards
What we're looking for
You need to be confident, well-rounded IT leader who thrives in complex environments. Here's what matters most:
- Fluency in both Dutch and English (written and verbal) is essential
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least five years of experience in people management and project management
- A solid grounding in IT systems within a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at senior level
- Calm, sound judgement, especially when things get busy
- Comfortable working in a matrix organisation with multiple reporting lines
- Willingness to be present on site regularly, with some travel
