Job Summary
The IT Business Partner will be based at our Papendrecht site in this global functions role supporting our Civil business line whilst reporting to the VP Digital Office – Civil. The incumbent will need to be flexible for quarterly international travel for project work and there is the flexibility to work from home for up to 2 days per week dependent on the needs of the business. The IT Business Partner will serve as the strategic and tactical interface for assigned business units or functional areas ensuring business technology, demand management strategy development, solution discovery, risk management and relationship management.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and act as the key liaison within the designated functional area
- Partner with key staff members to create strategic business plans
- Effectively coordinate team members and external resources with technical and business resources in mind
- Work in accordance with the global IT product strategy
- Structure, lead, train and coach IT staff for maximum effectiveness
- Conduct annual employee reviews and set staff objectives in line with global and regional objectives
- Implement global IT standards
- Support annual IT budget
- Ensure the function is efficient and customer service oriented
- Ensure IT security requirements are observed and designed into future demand requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
How You'll Contribute
To help us make a difference, you’ll bring your passion and talent for what you do along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:
Essential:
- A relevant HNC/HND or equivalent such as Computer Science or a related discipline
- Extensive IT experience gained from an applications focused role within a manufacturing environment
- Significant experience of line managing IT teams
- Notable project management experience having led multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience of working with senior leadership teams
- Experience gained from matrixed and fast paced environments
Desirable:
- Experience gained from the Aerospace industry
- Experience gained from an international organisation
