The Role

This role ensures delivery of core shared HR Service activity - H2R employee life cycle - across the Netherlands and manages the teams to ensure this delivery is reliable,
consistent, efficient and to a good standard.
The role will scope and manage projects to develop the shared HR services scope, increase and deliver harmonisation / standardisation of HR processes and maximise efficiency through use of technology and automation
in partnership with the HR systems team to ensure the right customer experience (high tech – human touch).

Responsibilities

Management of the Netherlands shared HR services function shared across sites (e.g. new hire on-boarding, employee life cycle changes, orientation,
off-boarding, T&A, payroll, benefits administration, SAP Success Factors data quality.
Develop a clear scope as required around shared service activity and that associated processes are effective, compliant and embed policy & governance requirements. 
Work this journey with key stakeholders including HR colleagues, vendors, managers & employees to ensure the right customer experience.
Ensuring the right qualitative and quantitative staffing at levels within the Shared HR Services team within budget. 
Ensure effective people management of shared HR services teams, coach and supervise team members to ensure they are engaged, 
fully trained (skills & capabilities) and deliver a high standard quality of work.
Focus on systems, processes & technology to maximise efficiency and drive harmonisation/standardisation.
Apply lean principles to define, review, improve & document shared services processes. 
Monitor and manage all interfaces between all external vendors providing services and manage SLA’s accordingly.
Partner with IT and HR systems teams to ensure effective system integration & development with a focus on removing duplication.
Ensuring an effective & compliant implementation of personnel management or administration, as well as supervising the correct implementation of regulations with regard to employment conditions.
Leads and delivers multiple complex and potentially competing key projects to develop shared HR service approach within agreed timescales and budget, including communication plan.  
Responsible for the completion, storage and audit of all required employment documents.
Actively advocate that data is the foundation for an objective decision making process.
Support VP HR Operations with ad hoc projects & activities, as required.

What do we ask for

Essential:

     HR
     Experience of implementing/developing shared HR services or working in shared service environment.
     Strong experience of HR business process framework, including key HR process and practice.
     Strong understanding of Netherlands compliance requirements, including CLA and policy best practice.
     Experience managing external suppliers on a tactical (SLA + KPI’s) and operational level (day-to-day business).
     Ability to effectively work autonomously with the support of the VP HR Operations and the wider project teams.

     Generic
     Good organisational and administrative ability, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
     Ability to work effectively in a complex and fast-paced environment and prioritise across multiple complex changing projects (can do mentality).
     Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in a complex (international) environment.
     Strong experience of Project Management and associated methodology best practice, including Lean processes (continuous improvement)

     Individual
     Good people management and communication skills.
     Excellent analytical skills, good judgment and excellent execution (strong drive for results).
     Strong relationship management and influencing skills, both internal & external, with all levels.
     Effective problem solver and strong ability to organise own workload and work to deadlines.
     Strong Microsoft Office skills and relevant project management software.
     Able to take the initiative and be pragmatic to achieve successful outcome.

     Fluency in Dutch and English

Desirable:
     Experience in a complex matrix organisation
     Working as part of broader virtual teams
     Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (HR Core), Visma YouServe (Payroll) and Visma Plusport (Learning Management System)
     Certification LEAN Foundation / Agile way-of-working
