Job Summary
The role of Compensation & Benefits Manager and Analyst – project LION is created to support the footprint reduction within GKN Aerospace in the Netherlands reducing the number of operational plants in the Netherlands.
The Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Manager will be co-responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of consistent and transparent C&B demands linked to this project LION.
Job Responsibilities
• Work on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for all payroll-related elements in line with deadlines.
• Develop and deliver standard reporting of compensation and benefits costs and analyse monthly variance between actuals and budgets.
• Lead and execute the compensation & benefits demands for the footprint reduction in the Netherlands.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of HR administration, payroll tax, and labour regulations requirements of all project related activities.
• Manage and execution of Dutch benefits schemes and compensation programs in line with local guidelines and instructions and aligned to the Global or Business line schemes
• Coordinate the Annual Salary Review process for the Dutch CLA population
• Coordinate and guarantee the respective C&B policies and procedures related to Personnel Admin, Global mobility policies and local legislation etc.
• Coordinate activities and processes regarding international employees within a matrix structure on with the internal Global Mobility team & the internal Business Lines Finance teams and external (global) service providers (i.e. payroll, tax advisors, relocation).
• Analyse local Dutch market trends in terms of C&B in the Metal or relevant industries in close alignment with the Manager Shared Services for the Netherlands.
• Project management of all annual changes. Projects to include analysing, addressing and implementing plan & design changes, and working directly with the Global HR Performance & Reward CoE, HR, employees (representatives) and vendors,.
System Management
• Management of all file interfaces between HRIS systems and outsourced benefit vendors in close cooperation with the IT department, the Central CoE on Systems and Processes and the HR Shared Service center.
• Coordinate information and interface with C&B team and external payroll vendors.
• Manage and troubleshoot all HRIS discrepancy reporting or other related sources as wel as discrepancies reported from employees, HR and payroll. Work with internal and external resources to resolve and communicate to all impacted parties.
Compliance
• Manage compliance of all legal requirements including the investigation and implementation of new legislation, CLA’s, audit requirements and mandatory employee notifications.
• Coordinate compliance required changes to the payroll and HRIS systems.
• Manage and deliver all annual reporting to governmental agencies.
Communications
• Develop and maintain communication including benefits portal updates, HR training and communications for new employees on local compensation and benefits.
• Implement new benefits programs.
Qualifications
Essential:
• Minimum of 10 years of compensation and benefits administration with experience in employee populations of 1,000 or more required.
• Strong knowledge of all rewards and benefit laws and regulations in the Netherlands.
• Strong benefits systems understanding and analytical abilities. Ability to analyse, compile and present benefits data in a comprehensive manner.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with any widely used HRIS system.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality reporting and other internal customer service.
• Strong HR process knowledge and experience.
• Ability to analyse key processes/systems, identify key risks and develop system-driven solutions, in conjunction with key stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a complex and fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
