What will you do?
As a CNC Operator, you will work on high-precision aircraft components, ensuring every part meets the highest standards. You will be part of a close-knit team where craftsmanship is key. Your typical day will look like this:
- Start with a team briefing to discuss the day’s planning, progress, and priorities alongside your team leader and colleagues.
- Inspect previously machined parts to ensure proper handover before starting your own CNC work.
- Independently operate CNC machines, specifically using Heidenhain controls, machining parts often destined for advanced systems like the JSF or NH90.
- Perform in-process measurements and quality checks to guarantee each part meets strict requirements before moving on to the next production stage.
- Work in a two-shift system (early/late), with attractive shift allowances. There are plans to move towards a three-shift system in the future.
- Develop into a versatile CNC Operator with ample opportunities for growth within Fokker Landing Gear.
What do we expect from you?
- Proven experience working with Heidenhain controls, preferably including turning operations.
- A precise and quality-driven work ethic.
- A proactive attitude: you ask questions, contribute ideas, and support your team.
- Good command of English, as technical instructions are often in English.
What do we offer?
- Competitive salary based on your knowledge and experience, excluding shift allowances and profit sharing.
- 40 days of annual leave (full-time employment).
- A one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
- Travel allowance, a solid pension scheme via PME, and discounts on supplementary health insurance.
- Training and development opportunities through internal and external courses.
- A pleasant, informal working atmosphere in an innovative and stable organization with a rich history.
