Your role

To make sure your start at Fokker Landing Gear is a success, we offer a tailored onboarding and training program. You'll get to know our organization, products, and processes in detail. A dedicated buddy – a seasoned CNC Operator from your team – will be there to guide you and answer your questions along the way.

Your responsibilities include:

• Start your day with a team meeting to discuss the planning, ongoing projects, and any urgent tasks that may arise.
• Check if previous operations on the components meet required standards before starting your own machining work.
• Use CNC milling machines to carry out machining operations on high-precision landing gear components.
• You’ll work on a variety of parts – from arresting hooks for the F-35 (JSF) to cylinders and pistons for NH90 helicopters.
• After machining, you'll perform precise measurements and inspections, or ask a colleague to double-check your work before passing it to the next stage.

Important:
You will regularly operate 5-axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls, so prior experience with both is a strong advantage.

Additionally, you have:

• A technical background through education and/or hands-on experience.
• Experience in CNC milling (knowledge of turning is a plus).
• Experience with 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Familiarity with Heidenhain CNC controls.
• Proficiency in English.
