Job Summary

** This role can be based in the UK or Papendrecht (NL) **

The Capex and Industrialisation Manager role is accountable for developing and implementing civil industrial strategy. The role will work together with the Civil sites to develop adequate industrial systems including investment plans

Job Responsibilities

  • Accountable for coherent and consistent industrial capability strategy and investment (CAPEX) at global level (Civil Business Line)
  • Ensuring site industrial capability needs are fulfilled by technology projects (where required), particularly through CAPEX enablement.
  • Defining overall global standards and technical requirements for the selection of industrialisation systems / equipment to support new bids and new product introductions along with improvements to existing work scope.
  • Accountable for the successful industrialisation of new and existing manufacturing capabilities on sites within Civil business line.
  • Collaborating with site Heads of ME on sharing and adoption of best practices.

Job Qualifications

  • Deep technical expertise in Manufacturing Engineering, with a professional qualification / background (university degree) in engineering
  • Experience on industrialisation of manufacturing process into production environments
  • Experience in creating business cases for manufacturing capability investments
  • Experience of Continuous improvement and LEAN methodologies
  • Experience of working on complex engineering projects in global organisations
  • Ability to establish collaborative working relationships across different departments and geographies
  • Proven complex troubleshooting and RCCA experience
  • Manufacturing requirements definition and management
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Operations
  • Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
