Job Summary
The Senior Accountant serves as the primary finance representative for the Additive Manufacturing business unit, providing strategic financial partnership with operational support. The role collaborates closely with the Value Stream Manager, Business Development teams and the Finance Director in Sweden to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support investment decisions. The position is also the main finance point of contact for additive investment activities in Newington.
Job Responsibilities
Financial Goverance & Compliance
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual finanical statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
- Maintain balance sheets integrity through detailed reviews and reconciliations
- Coordinate and support internal/external financial audits
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and reporting standards
Planning & Analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning (annual and 5-year) for the Additive Manufacturing Value Stream
- Deliver timely and accurate management reporting, including:
- Month-end close activities
- Account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
- Fixed asset reporting
- Weekly financial forecast updates and cash reporting
- Quarterly planning cycles and annual budgeting
- Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to operational and commercial leaders
- Support captial investment decisions and business cases
- Provide financial insights to drive performance improvements
Systems & Process Optimization
- Support modernization of finance systems in alignment with group strategy
- Identify and implement across improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficency
- Leverage data and analytics to improve decision-making
- Any other job duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FP&A or General Accounting within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particulary Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Must be a US Person (Citizen or Green Card Holder) or have the ability to obtain the necessary Government licensing to work with controlled technologoy and products

- Continous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience consolidating and analyzing large financial datasets to support forecasting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all all organizational levels
- Self-starter able to work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorites, meet deadlines, and drive process improvements
