Job Summary
We are seeking a PLM System Specialist to join our North America PLM DevOps team, supporting and enhancing the Teamcenter and NX platform. This role is responsible for maintaining system stability, supporting users, executing deployments and upgrades, and driving continuous improvements across the PLM environment.
As the organization expands its PLM footprint across multiple U.S. manufacturing locations, this position will play a critical role in ensuring the platform remains scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong, and passionate about troubleshooting, system optimization, and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities

PLM System Support & Operations
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Teamcenter and NX users.
- Troubleshoot system, data, workflow, and access-related issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Monitor system performance, stability, and overall platform health.
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Environment Management & Deployment
- Maintain alignment and consistency across Development (DEV), Quality Assurance (QA), and Production (PROD) environments.
- Execute deployments, system validations, and release activities.
- Support environment setup, configuration, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure deployment processes follow established standards and best practices.
Upgrades, Patches & Maintenance
- Plan and execute platform upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
- Support system testing and validation cycles.
- Monitor and optimize platform performance.
- Maintain documentation for upgrades, configurations, and support procedures.
DevOps & Platform Governance
- Support source code repositories, deployment processes, and release management activities.
- Follow global DevOps standards and operational practices.
- Contribute to platform reliability, automation, and process improvements.
- Partner with global teams to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
Continuous Improvement
- Implement configuration changes, enhancements, and system improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve system stability, usability, and efficiency.
- Support future integrations with enterprise applications and manufacturing systems.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance platform scalability and user experience.
Job Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting Teamcenter, NX, or other PLM systems.
- Experience with PLM system configuration, administration, and user support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting software deployment, upgrades, and system maintenance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
- Experience working within a DevOps or Agile environment.
- Knowledge of PLM integrations with ERP, MES, or other enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of release management, version control, and software deployment practices.
