Job Summary

Performs a variety of engineering work in planning, design and modification of fixtures, tools, and manufacturing processes.  Resolves production problems and completes documentation on assigned parts

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops, evaluates, improves and documents manufacturing processes
  • Develops and implements process control techniques including work instructions using tools such as SPC, PFMEA
  • Analyses manufacturing process flows continually for the improvements of quality, cost reduction, lead-time reduction for new work
  • Collarborates with other functions to ensure effective production methods
  • Coordinates part inspection procedures with Quality Engineers.
  • Addresses and documents cause and corrective action issues to prevent future problem occurrences.
  • Determines required material and tools for production
  • Creates and registers changes to work instructions
  • Develops, evaluates, improves and documents of repair process.
  • Develops and implements process control techniques including work instructions using tools such as SPC, PFMEA, Control Plan & APQP.
  • Well versed in Product Lifecycle Management Gates.
  • Develop and analyses repair process flows continually for the improvements of quality, cost reduction, lead-time reduction for new work.
  • Design, draw and simulate mechanical drawing using CAD tools with high complexity. This is mandatory.
  • Requires to perform computational solid mechanics such NASTRAN, PATRAN, COSMOS or equivalent.
  • Collaborates with other functions to ensure effective repair methods.
  • Explore new technology and methodology which is aligned with IR4.0.
  • Coordinates part inspection procedures with Quality Engineers.
  • Addresses and documents cause and corrective action issues to prevent future problem occurrences.
  • Determines required material, training, skills set, method, machine, equipment and tools for industrialization.
  • Creates and registers changes to work instructions.
  • Prepare presentation, reports, for Project Progress and Steering Committee Meeting.
  • Responsible in Sustainable Initiative define by company. 

Job Qualifications

  1. Minimum Bachelor of Engineering, B.Eng, preferable Mechanical, advantage for Aeronautics/Aerospace.
  2. Well versed in design process and tools such as AutoCAD, CATIA. SolidWorks, any equivalent 3D modelling.
  3. Well versed in stress analysis simulation, CSM-Computational Solid Mechanics.
  4. Good Knowledge in Sustainability, IR4.0, Digitalization and Automation.
  5. Good Knowledge in composites design, fabrication and repair method.
  6. Familiar with aircraft manual and engine manual structure.
  7. Able to use Microsoft Project or equivalent and capable to measure SPI and CPI.
