Job Summary

The Inspector for composite & transformation department is responsible for conducting detailed inspections to determine the extent of damage or defects on aircraft components and systems. The inspector uses specialized knowledge and experience to assess reparability, repair options, and costs.

Job Responsibilities

Inspector(s) are responsible for performing preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process and final inspections on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturer’s instructions for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to the Administrator.
Inspector(s) are specifically responsible for-
1. Ensuring that they are thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, aids, tools and equipment used within their assigned area of responsibility.
2. Maintaining proficiency in using the inspection aids in their assigned area of responsibility.
3. Ensuring that the inspection tools and equipment, including inspection aids, used to perform inspections are in proper working order and the proper calibration information is affixed.
4. Understanding the current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer of the article(s) being inspected.
5. Ensure all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed.

6.  Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned. 

Job Qualifications

1.Professional qualification (Diploma or Professional Certificate) with background in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical).
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in the related inspection processes.

3. Knowledge in C7 rating and ATA 72
